Ember (Dam)

Ember is our standard F1 Goldendoodle with a soft, wavy fleece coat in the classic apricot/red spectrum. Genetically, she is ee at the E-locus, which means she will always pass along her red coloring genetics to her puppies. Her black nose, eye rims, and warm brown eyes come from her BB (black pigment) and DD (no dilute) results — meaning she will not produce liver, blue, or dilute coats. With one curl gene (CT) and long coat genetics (LhLh), Ember’s litters are expected to have the signature doodle look with coats ranging from wavy to gently curly.

Her health and ancestry are just as strong as her looks. Ember’s full Embark DNA panel returned clear for all conditions, and she carries a 0% coefficient of inbreeding (COI) — a sign of genetic diversity and long-term health. Her maternal haplogroup traces back to the retriever family, which shines through in her calm, steady temperament.

Personality is where Ember truly glows. She is calm, loyal, and endlessly gentle. She stays close by at all times, listens attentively, and thrives as a steady, affectionate presence in our home. As a mother, she is nurturing and devoted, passing along not only her healthy genetics but also her sweet, people-focused personality to every puppy she raises.

Zen (Sire)

Zen is our mini, Poodle-leaning Goldendoodle with a soft, dense, curly fleece coat in a warm light-blonde shade with subtle cream points. Genetically, Zen is about 90% Poodle and 10% Golden Retriever, giving him the strong furnishings, single-coat fleece texture, and non-shedding qualities families love in a doodle. His black-based pigment (Bb, DD) means he himself shows a dark nose and eye rims, but because he carries one recessive b allele he can pass the liver/chocolate pigment option to his puppies if paired with another carrier.

Zen’s curls come from two curl alleles (TT) and his long-coat genetics (LhLh) make for the plush, allergy-friendly doodle coat that is surprisingly low-maintenance and stays clean-smelling. His signature look is completed by his distinctive eyes — one brown and one partially blue — a trait called heterochromia, which is purely cosmetic and has no effect on health or vision.

Zen’s health panel is clear for all testable conditions, and his sturdy structure combined with his social, playful nature make him an excellent sire. He passes along his full, non-shedding doodle coat, compact size, and bright, affectionate temperament to his offspring.

This pairing result in about a 25% golden retriever to 75% poodle genetic line! Because of the cross of a goldendoodle to another goldendoodle we would call these Multi-Gen Goldendoodles

Plush, wavy-to-curly fleece coats (thanks to Ember’s single curl gene and Zen’s strong double curl genetics). 1/2 the litter will be more wavy, the other half curly.

Low- to non-shedding, allergy-friendly coats that are soft and tend to stay clean-smelling between grooming & baths

Most pups will show black-based pigment (dark noses, eye rims, and paw pads)

A range from red to rich apricot-red to lighter cream/apricot tones

Estimated 25–45 lbs (small-medium), a sweet spot between Zen’s mini frame and Ember’s standard build
